How TransMagic software is activated
TransMagic sends connections request to Flexera Network Operations to activate via cloud licensing technology as it sends activity to ports 80 and 443 are open to outbound traffic. The the activation request does use the ping protocol to initiate the connection.
The latest version of TransMagic software can be download from https://transmagic.com/download. TransMagic R12 sp2 12.22.400 and later has the latest network and connectivity messaging built in to the product.
Licensing TransMagic Release R12 sp2
If you receive an activation error please refer to the activation log located at C:\Users\Public\Documents\TransMagic\Licensing\FlexLicensing\TMFlexLicLog\TMFlexLicenseLog.txt . The license log can be sent to TransMagic at license@transmagic.com for review.
Below are configurations that will help in activating the "Activation ID" assigned to your account:
- Make sure you have an active Internet connection.
- Add https://transmagic.flexnetoperations.com as a "trusted url" on your firewall
- Allow TransMagic.exe input/output on your firewall
- Your firewall may be blocking either port 80 or port 443. TransMagic’s new licensing system requires that both of these ports be open to contact the licensing server.
