Autodesk has moved to a registry-free add-on process, which means that, temporarily, if you want to run the Powerpack for Inventor with Inventor 2022 or 2023, you will have to make a registry edit. The workaround for now is to simply add a registry edit as shown below. In the TransMagic R14 timeframe (release is planned for fall 2022), this process will be handled transparently.
First, it's always a good idea to back-up your registry by Exporting it if you're going to make changes. With that said, launch the Registry Editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion27.0\System\Preferences. Add a new DWORD entry entitled LoadRegisterBasedAddins. You can right-click on this new entry and Modify to change the Value Data to 1 (hexidecimal), so it looks like the screenshot below. At this point you should be good to have access to the TransMagic Powerpack for Inventor 2022 or 2023. If you have any problems, please contact us via this Support Portal or via email@example.com.
